OD Programs Home
We have initiated a process of transforming the Advanced ODHRM
Program from a 3-week certificate executive education program to an
Executive Masters Degree Program in Organization Change &
Development at Teachers College, Columbia University.
While we
are in the nascent stage of developing the new program, our current
thinking is that the program will be conducted similarly to an
Executive MBA Program, Friday/Saturday classes with three weeks of
residency. We are also aware that there are OD practitioners that
may still want to participate in a certificate program. We are
therefore considering a design that would allow for either option, that
is, a more limited program for the certificate and a more extensive, in
depth program for the degree. While we will not be offering the
certificate program in 2008, we expect the new program to commence in
2009.
We are, however, pleased to continue offering the Principles and
Practices of Organization Development Program (PPOD). Barbara
Bunker and Dick Axelrod will be offering two programs in '08, one in
the Spring and one in the Fall.
Each program is two weeks long spaced 4-8 weeks apart.
The dates for the '08 PPOD Program are:
Program 1: April 6-11 and June 8-13
Program 2: October 12-17 and November 9-14
Please contact Frank Golom, Program Coordinator, at od@columbia.edu, for more information on the '08 PPOD Programs.
