Ayelet Danielle Aldouby is a public art and social practice curator working at the intersection of art education and wellness.

Aldouby serves as a curatorial consultant at Residency Unlimited (RU) in Brooklyn and is the president of the NAEA Community Art Caucus (CAC). She was the founding member and lead curator for IDEAS xLab - cultivating artists as agents of change supported by the NEA and has curated numerous public art installations at the 51st & 52nd Venice Biennales, at “Re:Construction” public art initiative with the Alliance for Downtown NY, as well as community engagement projects  around the US with grants promoting the wellness of communities. Aldouby’s doctoral focus and curatorial practice advances artists’ training by cultivating artists to reconstruct and contextualize their methodologies to impact both communities and education. Through the theory and tools of social practice,  she mentors artists as social entrepreneurs as well as civic and corporate innovators. Aldouby instructs socially engaged art and community engagement and her recent publications include: Then & Now featured in the Harlem Renaissance Curriculum Guide and Seeing the Unseen: A Coming of Age Story Inspired by Soap and Buttons (Trends - Journal of the Texas Art Education Association).
