Dear TC Community,

We are saddened and horrified by the terrorist attacks on three Roman Catholic Churches and three hotels on Easter Sunday in Colombo, Sri Lanka, that have claimed nearly 300 lives and left 500 injured. This despicable act, committed on Christianity’s holiest day of the year, is, like every violent attack directed at anyone or any group on the basis of identity, background, or religious faith, a crime against us all.

However near or far, every murderous terrorist attack against innocent fellow human beings pains us deeply and rattles our collective sense of safety and security. That is why must strengthen our resolve even more to work toward creating a safer, more just world.
