How to Apply

• Completed application form -- The application form can be downloaded here or filled out online.
• Statement of purpose  (around 500 words) -- Written in English (by non-native speakers of English) or Chinese (by non-native speakers of Chinese)
• English or Chinese language score reports -- Non-native speakers of Chinese should submit a standardized Chinese proficiency test report (e.g., HSK); non-native speakers of English should submit a standardized English proficiency test report (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, GRE)
• Official copies of college transcripts
• Two reference letters
• A non-refundable US$100 application fee
  

• All applicants should submit their complete application "ELECTRONICALLY" to us at "tcsol@tc.columbia.edu".

• We accept credit card payment (*PREFERRED*):  Click here to make a payment online with a credit card (https://commerce.cashnet.com/TCSOL). Please submit receipt/confirmation of payment along with all other electronic application documents to us at "tcsol@tc.columbia.edu".
  
• We also allow for personal/cashier/traveler's checks, bank drafts, or money orders drawn on U.S. banks (NO CASH**):  Must be made payable to "TCSOL, Teachers College".  Please mail the check to:
