The Met in the Parks series, now in its 37th season, includes performances of two operas: Turandot and Gaetano Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, to be heard in the parks of all five boroughs of New York City, as well as in New Haven, Connecticut, and New Jersey. Last summer more than 155,000 people attended the 12 performances comprising the three-week-long concert series. All of the performances are free and no tickets are required. More
