The Department of Organization and Leadership honors a deep commitment to excellence in scholarship, teaching, and service. The Department is comprised of six programs, each supported by a world-class faculty. The programs are:
Our department's faculty and staff challenge and engage students in a rigorous program of intellectual inquiry, research, and practice. As one of the largest departments at the College, the Department of Organization and Leadership offers students and professionals the opportunity to acquire expertise across a variety of pressing issues that confront leadership, organizational change, and education reform within the United States and internationally. The department offers academic programs at the masters and doctoral levels including the Ph.D. While the programs described above provide intellectual centers of gravity for one's study, students are also encouraged to cross-register according to individual plans and needs both in the college as whole and in the wider Columbia University system.
