Probability Teaching PostersThe day we began a unit on probability, the culmination of which was the Lottery Challenge, there was a rather informal snow-day in New York City. That is to say, we had attendance of about 8 students out of 20. As we sat around the "big table" in the middle of the room talking about probability, doing examples with dice and defining the concept, we decided that instead of repeating the same information the next day, the students there would become the teachers. Each pair of students recieved a sub-topic of the concept. They created a poster and example problem we called their "teaching tool." The next day, students who were not in attendance on the "snow-day"
