Lab Description
Welcome to our Lab
At the Language and Cognition Lab at Teachers College of Columbia University we study how babies think about the world and develop language. Our studies have shown that babies pay attention to people and to objects. This helps them to identify the important aspects of the world that will be useful for learning language. Though this is just the tip of the iceberg in the area of infant learning, there is much to discover.
To help us learn more about how infants view the world around them, come participate in a fun and interesting research study at the Language and Cognition Lab.
