This research group, lead by Dr. Robert T Carter and composed of current graduate students, is dedicated to the promotion of the study of race, culture, racial identity, racial and gender discrimination, and how race-related stress/trauma affects mental health in different settings. Contained within this website you will find; overall descriptions of research projects, selected publications, current online studies and team members' biography. In WEB ONE study, you share your story of encountering racial discrimination and how you were affected by the racial incidents through answering demographic and open ended questions. You can also indicate that you have no racial discrimination experiences and complete part of the study. The estimated time to finish this study is about 20 minutes.

 

WEB TWO study also involves some description of your experience. In this study you will tell your story and indicate through responses to the survey question items your reactions to the incident.The estimated time to finish this study is about 20 minutes.

 

Please fill out SURVEY on discriminatory experiences you  have had at workplace because of your race.  The estimated time to finish this study is about 20 minutes.


 
  This SURVEY is designed to examine discriminatory experiences you have encountered because of your sexual orientation. It takes about 20 minutes to finish this study.
