In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court's landmark ruling, Brown v. Board of Education, the Teachers College, Columbia University community will engage in a celebration of the social struggles that led to this monumental case and their relevance today. The central focus of this on-going but intertwined series of events will be to build important bridges from the past to the present though public dialogue and debate about the legacy of the Brown decision and the implications of that legacy for political change in today's world.
