Special Application Requirements/Information:
In addition to the Teachers College admission application, prospective students must submit the following:
• BBE Supplementary program application (available from the program website below or program office, contact
babaev@tc.edu) . BBE Supplementary program application must be submitted along with all other admissions related documents to the TC Office of Admissions.
• Proof of Language proficiency (please see BBE Supplementary program application)
Proficiency in English and a language other than English (LOTE) are required for the Program in Bilingual/Bicultural Education, as well as for the the courses of study leading to NY State certification. Students must provide proof of proficiency in a language other than English by showing evidence of education or extended residence abroad; under-graduate coursework; or language proficiency scores (such as the GRE, SAT, or Peace Corps Assessment). Students must also submit two statement of interest: one in English and one the LOTE. International students must submit TOEFL scores.
