Guest Housing
The Office of Residential Services has a limited number of guest rooms in our New Residence Hall for short term stays for members and guests of Teachers College and
Guests who stay any duration of the weekend, are financially responsible for Friday, Saturday and Sunday night charges.
Our standard rooms are furnished with central heat and a/c, microwave, refrigerator, color cable TV, hairdryer, iron, dvd player, coffee maker, iHome radio with iPod docking station, luxury linens, and one double Simmons HealthSmart Beautyrest World-Class Feilicy Superpillow top bed.
Our ADA room has all of the same ammenities as our standard rooms however has a twin size bed and a handicap accessible bathroom.
All of our rooms feature private baths and are non-smoking. A daily towel exchange (on business days) is available.
517 West 121st offers a TV lounge, computer lab, conference room, and two beautiful courtyards. All are available for guest's use. There are also common kitchens on every other floor in the building.
To make a reservation, please call (212) 678-3235 from 9am to 5pm, Monday - Friday. You may also e-mail us at housing@tc.edu. During the summer our office closes at 3pm on Friday. A credit card is required to book a room. Cancellations require 48 business hours notice. You will be charged minimally for the first night if you do not arrive on your day of arrival or do not call in advance to cancel.
Check-In: Guests arriving between 2:00 p.m.- 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday should check in at the Office of Residential Services, located in Whittier Hall,
Check-Out: Check-out is at 10:00am. You can bring your key card to the Office of Residential Services or you may leave your key card at the 517 Hall Security Desk. Guests will be charged for key cards that are not returned.
Staff Support: During the day, all your questions and concerns will be handled by the Office of Residential Services staff. You can contact them by calling (212) 678-3235. After 5:00pm and on the weekends, you may contact our security desk staff at (212) 678-6100. In case of an emergency or if you have trouble reaching anyone, you may call our 24-hour operations desk at (212) 678-3333.
